Middletown continued its strong season with a statement win, knocking off Lakota East to improve to 6-1 and remain firmly in the GMC title hunt. The Middies’ defense set the tone, forcing four turnovers, recording four sacks, and holding the Thunderhawks to just 1-of-9 on third-down conversions.

J.D. Singletary anchored the effort up front with six tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and a forced fumble he also recovered. His disruptive presence helped Middletown control the line of scrimmage all night.
