The Oregon men’s basketball team secured a significant recruiting commitment on Friday.

Five-star small forward Tajh Ariza verbally committed to Oregon during a CBS online broadcast from Las Vegas .

The 6-foot-9 Ariza, out of St. John Bosco in Bellflower, Calif., will enter his senior season ranked by 247Sports.com as the No. 14 player in the 2026 class and No. 6 at small forward.

Ariza’s father, Trevor Ariza , played 18 seasons in the NBA from 2004 through 2022. He spent part of the 2019-20 season with the Portland Trail Blazers, appearing in 21 games.
