TOWAMENCIN — Christian Barnes would not be stopped.
On a crucial fourth down play early in the third quarter of Friday’s game against visiting Central Bucks South, the North Penn senior defensive edge was the first one in after shedding a blocker on a three-yard loss that earned the Knights their third turnover on downs of the evening. Barnes may be new to the team this year, but he’s been making plays this season just now in a new position.
Barnes gave the Knights an edge and North Penn’s offense was extremely efficient in a 28-7 win over the Titans at Crawford Stadium.
