Two Maryland firemen were hit with charges for a hose stunt that flooded a baseball field being used by a collegiate team amid a long-running feud, according to a report.

Montgomery County Fire Capt. Christopher Reilly and firefighter Alan Barnes each were slapped with three misdemeanor charges for the watery retribution this past July, according to NBC News . 5

They each face two counts of malicious destruction of property and one count of disorderly conduct.

“The Montgomery County Fire Rescue Service takes this matter very seriously and is cooperating with the investigation,” Montgomery County said in a statement Wednesday.
