Actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are now officially engaged, as per a confirmation shared by Vijay’s team to SCREEN on Saturday. While the couple is yet to share photos from the ceremony, sources suggest the engagement took place at Vijay’s residence in Hyderabad in an intimate setting, attended only by close family members.

Rumours about the duo’s relationship first began in 2018, after they starred together in the hit romantic drama Geetha Govindam. At the time, Rashmika was engaged to her Kirik Party co-star Rakshit Shetty. However, their engagement was called off just a month after the release of Geetha Govindam.
