CLEVELAND, Ohio – Villa-Angela-St. Joseph trounced Columbus Centennial, 57-6, on Friday night in a nonconference football matchup.

VASJ, ranked 19th in this week’s cleveland.com high school football Top 25, improves to 5-1. Columbus Centennial is 3-4.

VASJ head coach Jeff Rotsky and his Vikings have been on a winning streak since suffering Week 2 loss at Youngstown Cardinal Mooney. The Vikings had only given up 14 points in their last three games with Centennial traveling up north.

There was no contest from the opening kickoff. VASJ busted the game open with three touchdowns in the first quarter alone to make it a quick 21-0 lead.

Senior WR/CB Savion Lewis and junior tight end DAngelo White were the predominant scorers for the game in the first half.
