Medical University of South Carolina held a ceremony to bless therapy dogs to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the therapy dog program.
Faithful four-legged companions of all sizes and breeds showed face — and tongue — on Oct. 3 at MUSC’s center square. Anyone who had wandered into the grassy partition with a frown had their demeanor quickly rectified at the sight.
The event, titled the “Blessing of the Therapy Dogs,” not only offered volunteer handlers and their pups a chance to ce
