Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin said that the Tamil Nadu Government is taking all the observations and guideline given by the High Court regarding the Karur Tragedy very seriously.

In a Statement posted on X, he said, “ We are all heartbroken by the tragedy in Karur. I feel the pain of every family that has lost a loved one.”

He also said that an SIT formed on the orders of the Madras High Court will begin its investigation into the Karur Stampede. He assured that the truth would come out and that accountability would be ensured on all levels.
