A Utah teen fell to his death. Strangers at the cliff keep his memory alive.

Rebecca Fielding hiked to the edge of a Utah cliff with the intention of falling to her death — near the spot where her teenage brother had accidentally died two days earlier.

Rebecca had begun writing a suicide note when the clouds parted behind her and sunlight warmed her back. That small pleasure made Rebecca change her mind. She ripped out her note from a black leather pocket notebook and began writing a different message.
