A student brought a gun to Montgomery Public Schools’ JAG High School on Thursday.
A school spokesperson told parents on Thursday, “Today it was reported that a weapon was found on campus. Montgomery Public Schools security quickly enacted the safety protocols to handle the matter immediately. All students and staff are safe, and the matter is being handled with local authorities.”
“As a reminder, safety is a top priority for MPS students and staff. We want to thank our parents and community members for being supportive as we work to have a safe and secure learning environment for all students,” the spokesperson said.
