Six people including children were shot while on a night out in Sweden with a 14-year-old boy arrested.
Shots were fired around 2am in Gävle, in an area lined with bars and restaurants.
Most of the victims were young adults and also people aged under 18.
All six were taken to hospital, spokesman Tobias Ahlén-Svalbro said.
A 14-year-old boy is being held on suspicion of attempted murder.
Mr Ahlén-Svalbro said: ‘So far we are working broadly and I cannot confirm that there is any connection to the criminal network environment.
