A Cooper County woman won $100,000 from a scratchers prize after a week of being sick at home, according to the Missouri Lottery.

The woman decided she needed to get out of the house and stopped at a Murphy USA in Boonville on 2148 Main St. to grab a soda.

While inside, the woman purchased a Triple Cash Crossword and discovered she won the $100,000 top prize.
