SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR) -- The former Syracuse football star, Arthur Jones, passed away suddenly on Friday at the age of 39. The Baltimore Ravens posted to X regarding the loss of a great player too soon. The Rochester native and Union Endicott graduate played four years at Syracuse and racked up 38.5 tackles for loss and 145 total career tackles.

He played eight seasons in the NFL, Ravens (2010-2013), Colts (2014-2016) and Washington (2017), where he won a Super Bowl with the Baltimore Ravens.
