Billed in the preseason as a possible destination for ESPN's College GameDay show, UNC football vs. Clemson is now set for a noon kickoff at Kenan Stadium between a pair of teams without a Power 4 victory through five weeks of the 2025 season.

The Tar Heels (2-2) open ACC play against the Tigers (1-3, 0-2 ACC), who started the season as a top-five team in the rankings before losing to LSU, Georgia Tech and Syracuse. In its first season under coach Bill Belichick, UNC has lost by an average of nearly 30 points in its two games against Power 4 competition.

Belichick and Clemson coach Dabo Swinney will be searching for signs of improvement in Week 6, with the winner taking a step toward getting its season back on track. UNC has questions at quarterback, with Gio Lopez listed as questionable
