Moscow: A Russian drone strike on a railway station in the northeastern Ukrainian region of Sumy wounded at least 30 people, AFP reported on Saturday quoting President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Zelensky described the strike on Shostka station, around 50 kilometres from the Russian border, as ‘savage’. ADVERTISEMENT

“So far, we know of at least 30 victims, including passengers and railway staff,” Zelensky stated.

The Ukrainian President posted a video on X which shows a train carriage engulfed in flames with twisted metal and busted windows.
