UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer will make his first official visit to India on October 8 and 9, the Ministry of External Affairs announced on Saturday. The visit comes at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi , the MEA said.

During his two-day trip, Starmer and Modi will take stock of progress across the India-UK Comprehensive Strategic Partnership on October 9 in Mumbai. This 10-year plan focuses on trade and investment, technology and innovation, defence and security, climate and energy, health, education and people-to-people ties.
