ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) - A memorial service has been scheduled for an Anderson County detective who was killed last week in a wreck.

According to a social media post by Whitefield Fire Department, a procession and memorial service for Mark Garrett will begin Sunday afternoon.

Garret, a longtime deputy with the Anderson County Sheriff's Office who also served at multiple area fire departments and rescue squads, was killed Wednesday while riding a motorcycle in Williamston.

According to Whitefield Fire Department, at 12:45 p.m. Sunday, Garrett's casket will be escorted by vehicles from multiple departments from the Gray Mortuary in Pelzer to the NewSpring Church in Anderson.
