The County of Nevada, the City of Nevada City, and the Nevada City Chamber of Commerce are excited to welcome trick-or-treaters to the fourth annual Nevada City Halloween Spooktacular and Spooky Boooky Book Giveaway event on Friday, Oct. 31, from 3-5 p.m. This free, fun, and family-friendly event is a great way to get your evening festivities started.

Halloween lovers of all ages are invited to park at the Nevada County Government Center, trick-or-treat throughout the County building departments, head up to the Madelyn Helling Library for the book giveaway, and then take the free shuttle downtown to City Hall. Nevada County Connects will run the shuttle between the Government Center, Madelyn Helling Library, and City Hall every 15 minutes until 7 p.m.
