ANN ARBOR – Michigan’s football team faces Wisconsin at Saturday for the first time since 2021.

On paper, the 20th-ranked Wolverines (3-1, 1-0 Big Ten) have a significant advantage against the visiting Badgers (2-2, 0-1). Wisconsin has lost two straight to Alabama and Maryland, getting outscored 65-24.
It will be without starting quarterback Billy Edwards Jr., who returned to the lineup last week after a two-game absence but exited in the first quarter because of a reaggravation of a knee injury.
The Badgers’ offense has scuffled with backup Danny O’Neil, ranking 17th in the Big Ten in yards per game. He has thrown for 640 yards, five touchdowns and five interceptions
