Moments into the 61st appearance of ESPN’s "College GameDay" at the University of Alabama’s campus, Nick Saban let the world know that the Crimson Tide have avenging last year’s loss on their mind.

“Let me say one thing: Revenge is not supposed to be a factor, but it is a factor today,” Saban said.

Last year, Vanderbilt shocked the nation by beating the No. 1-ranked Crimson Tide for the first time since 1984. Vanderbilt is not sneaking under anyone’s radar this season, as the Commodores have improved since last season and have climbed to the No. 16-ranked team in the nation.

“This is a different Vandy team,” Kirk Herbstreit said. “They’re better. They’re more mature. They’re more experienced than they were a year ago. They are not intimidated.”
