TORONTO – Luis Gil is on, Mark Leiter Jr. is off.

To add Gil to the roster heading into the ALDS, where he will start Game 1 against the Blue Jays , the Yankees took off Leiter after he had been on it for the AL wild-card series.

This is not new territory for Leiter, who was left off the ALDS and ALCS rosters last October before being added during the ALCS as an injury replacement for Ian Hamilton.
