Saturday notes… • CUBS ON THE ROAD IN THE POSTSEASON: This will be the Cubs’ 29th post-season series and the 15th they have begun on the road. The Cubs are 6-8 in the previous road openers. The first three wins were at Detroit, in the World Series of 1908, 1935 and 1945. They won at Atlanta in the 2003 Division Series, at Pittsburgh in the 2015 Wild Card game and at Washington in the 2017 Division Series.
