Robert Griffin III never imagined his Friday would turn into a nightmare. The Commanders’ legend and Baylor’s Heisman-winning quarterback was with his wife and kids when their vehicle was struck in what he later called the “worst accident of our lives.” Griffin later shared the terrifying details online.

“Just got in the worst car accident of our lives with my wife and kids in Fort Worth, Texas. Scary crash, ricocheted off the highway divider multiple times, blown both front tires. Thankful to God that my wife and kids are safe,” Griffin wrote on X.
