PHOENIX — Two men were seriously hurt during an electrical incident that occurred at a Peoria hotel on Saturday morning, authorities said.

According to the Peoria Police Department, the two men were working as contractors at the hotel when the electrical incident took place. The location of the hotel where the incident took place was not specified.

Police said the men were transported to a nearby burn unit with serious injuries.

Investigators with Peoria Fire-Medical reportedly responded to investigate.
