Pankaj Kapur Says He Has Lived A ‘Middle Class’ Life: ‘I Am An Actor, Not A Star’

Veteran actor Pankaj Kapur, who has been a part of the film industry for decades, recently reflected on his long career and simple way of living. In an interview, he shared that he has never had grand ambitions and is content with what he has achieved. Kapur added that while many of his contemporaries may have earned more wealth, he still leads a “middle-class life" in Mumbai.

In an interview with SMTV, Pankaj Kapur shared that he is “99.9% content" with his career but admitted to a slight sense of discontent. The veteran actor said this stems from not being offered the kind of lead roles that many mainstream stars received during his time. He said, “I lead a good, middle-class life in Bombay.
