Union Minister of Tribal Affairs, Jual Oram, today inaugurated the Skill Lab at Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) in Kirmira, Jharsuguda district, Odisha.

This new Skill Lab targets Agriculture and Automotive Trades, equipping students with hands-on training in employable skills that complement their academic studies.

The ceremony aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s national launch of 200 EMRS Skill Labs via a virtual conference.

Smt. Kumud Khuswa, Deputy Commissioner of NESTS (National Education Society for Tribal Students), Shri T.V.S. Prakash Rao, NESTS Consultant, and Kunal Motiram Chhavan, Jharsuguda District Collector, joined other dignitaries to grace the event.
