SEATTLE -- Colt Keith, on the injured list since Sept. 19 with right rib cage inflammation, will be back on the field this weekend.

The Detroit Tigers added Keith to their postseason roster for the American League Division Series, which begins Saturday at 8:38 p.m. Eastern time at T-Mobile Park against the Mariners.

The Tigers also added right-handed reliever Brenan Hanifee, who was on the taxi squad for the Wild Card Series in Cleveland.

Keith and Hanifee will take the spots of outfielder Justyn-Henry Malloy and right-handed reliever Paul Sewald, who are no longer on the roster.

In addition to Malloy and Sewald, right-handers Chris Paddack and Tanner Rainey, left-hander Bailey Horn, catcher Tomás Nido, and infielder/outfielder Matt Vierling are expected to be with the team during the
