Aston Villa are targeting their fourth successive victory in all competitions on Sunday afternoon as Unai Emery’s side host Burnley in the Premier League.
They come into the game on the back of an impressive 2-0 win over Feyenoord at De Kuip in the Europa League, which followed back-to-back wins against Bologna and Fulham.
Opponents Burnley have collected two fewer points than Villa in the Premier League so far this season, winning one and drawing another of their first six matches.
Despite winning their last three matches in all competitions, Villa have only claimed one league victory, which came against Fulham last Sunday.
Burnley’s last league visit to Villa Park saw them lose 3-2 in December 2023; they last lost successive away league matches at Villa in April 1966
