The Ahmedabad City Police issued two notifications on Saturday for extended road and bridge closures due to delays in the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Corridor bullet train project.

The two notifications were issued by the traffic police and signed by JCP (Traffic) NN Chaudhari. In the first case, bullet train work is going on between Sabarmati and Vatva where segments are being put up on pillars. These segments need to be put up on pillars at the Cadila bridge, the work for which has been ongoing since April 6. However, due to technical reasons and railway schedule, this work could not be completed. The work will continue till November 15.
