GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The 2025 Grand Rapids Heart Walk was held at Aquinas College this weekend, and 13 ON YOUR SIDE's morning team was there for all the action.

The event began at 9 a.m. at the Struss Sports & Fitness Center and the walk kicked off at 11 a.m.

In addition to the walk, there were games and activities for children, face painting and the annual mascot race. Despite a valiant effort, Blinkie, 13 ON YOUR SIDE's Weatherball mascot, came in a close second.

The event, hosted by the American Heart Association (AHA), aims not only to raise money for AHA research, but also to support CPR training in Grand Rapids.
