No. 3 Michigan State opened its season with a 4-0 exhibition victory Friday against the University of Windsor at Munn Ice Arena in East Lansing. No. 12 Michigan began its season by scoring 11 goals against Mercyhurst in its home victory at Yost Ice Arena in Ann Arbor.
