CHESHIRE – Going into Saturday’s game, Hoosac Valley was looking to make it four games in a row without a loss to start the season. After shutting out Monument Mountain the week before, emotions were running high going into the game against South Hadley.

After the first quarter rendered both teams scoreless, the Hurricanes whisked past the Tigers and scored 26 points in the second quarter alone, leading the hosts to a 33-6 victory on Saturday afternoon.
