NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. — A new restaurant is bringing international flavors to Nicholasville. Soon, central Kentuckians can get authentic Ukrainian food in Jessamine County.

A former pet grooming business in downtown Nicholasville will soon offer central Kentuckians their first taste of authentic Ukrainian food. Tetiana Soloshchuk, the co-owner of Taste of Ukraine, said it’s a dream for her and her husband.

“We will be the first establishment of this kind in our state. I am truly grateful that we have this opportunity to be the pioneers, and I really hope that our restaurant will be well liked and will become a place that people will visit daily,” Soloshchuk said.
