TV host Victoria Coren Mitchell has addressed the situation after the latest episode of Have I Got News For You was pulled from BBC iPlayer due to her error regarding Labour's digital ID card proposals.

On the evening of October 3, the Only Connect presenter helmed the satirical show, joined by panellists Sheila Hancock, Miles Jupp, Ian Hislop, and Paul Merton.

In one segment, Victoria posed a question to the panel about who stands to benefit from Sir Keir Starmer's decision to introduce the ID system, before stating: "I was thinking of the company Multiverse, who has been chosen to run the digital ID cards scheme."
