Charlie Kirk was a deep-state operative who was waging war on fellow MAGA icons, according to Trump's Georgia election lawyer.

Lin Wood, the Georgia lawyer who peddled former President Donald Trump's false election fraud claims, took to social media over the weekend to air his intra-MAGA grievances. It started off with Wood posting a screenshot from an unnamed publication, with text that reads, "In January 2021, Charlie Kirk expressed strong criticism of Lin Wood, characterizing him as 'crazy' and a 'pathological liar.'"

"While Charlie Kirk was the most vocal critic, other affiliates and supporters of Turning Point USA similarly accused Lin Wood of being unreasonable or misleading in his assertions about the 2020 election," the rest of the image reads.

Wood then chimed in using his own words, and specifically called out Kirk and others. Kirk was recently shot in the neck and killed at a speaking engagement at a Utah university.

"In addition to Charlie Kirk, Turning Point USA supporters Jack Posobiec and Sebastian Gorka also publicly accused me of being crazy," Wood wrote. "I have never met or spoken with Kirk, Posobiec, or Gorka and none of these accusers ever contacted me or afforded me an opportunity to respond to their serious public accusations against me."

Wood added, "Deep State operatives create their own propaganda against an individual perceived to be their enemy and they do not want the TRUTH to get in the way of their LIES. Just sayin.’"
