Florida football wide receiver Dallas Wilson finally made his debut this season in the Gators' matchup against No. 7 Texas, and it proved to be historical.
The former five-star recruit's debut had been delayed due to an injury to his foot, but in his first game wearing orange and blue he recorded 50 yards, four catches and a touchdown by the first half against Texas. It's the first time in school history a true freshman to score a receiving touchdown during their first career start.
Wilson made his presence known on the Gators' opening drive as he contributed two catches for 19 yards to help set up a touchdown.
Later in the second quarter, Wilson came down with an impressive 18-yard snag. That play set up a 13-yard touchdown from quarterback DJ Lagway to extend Florida's lead to 17-7 ov
