SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The Savannah African Art Museum (SAAM) hosted a storytelling afternoon with Adrienne Reynolds.

In an effort to connect the community through shared culture and oral histories, storyteller and singer Adrienne Reynolds hosted a storytime at SAAM on Saturday afternoon.

This initiative is also part of SAAM's virtual exhibit "Telling Your Story," which encourages members of the community to share personal or ancestral stories of the African-American experience through images, writing, or video.

You can submit your story at sankofa@savannahafricanartmuseum.org; the deadline to submit them is Oct. 15.
