The Chicago Cubs saw their National League Division Series get off to a rocky start as they were blown out 9-3 by the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday afternoon.

Jackson Chourio went 3-for-3 with a run scored and three RBI’s before leaving the game in the second inning, and Caleb Durbin knocked in two runs as the Brewers cruised to victory in the first-ever postseason meeting between the National League Central rivals.

Michael Busch led off the game with a solo home run, but things quickly unraveled as Matthew Boyd gave up six runs in just 0.2 innings of work, four of which were unearned. The Brewers ultimately piled up nine innings in the first two innings alone, cementing an impressive Game 1 victory.
