PHILADELPHIA – The Phillies and a raucous Citizens Bank Park crowd will hope Harrison Bader and Bryson Stott can be bottom-of-the-order feasters off Dodgers pitching in Game 1 of the NLDS on Oct. 4.

Both have periodically batted at or near the top of the order, with Bader having a rather prolific spell leading off when Trea Turner was sidelined recently.

But Bader will bat in the No. 8 spot with Stott in his usual No. 9 role for the 6:38 p.m. game (airing on TBS).

Phillies manager Rob Thomson set his batting order with the hope it will mean men on base for the top of the Phillies order – Turner, Kyle Schwarber and Bryce Harper.
