CHAPEL HILL, NC — Clemson football 's offense needed a dominating performance and showcased it in one quarter.

The Tigers routed UNC, winning 38-10 win on Oct. 4 at Kenan Memorial Stadium. Clemson scored 28 points in the first quarter, which gave the Tigers a season-high in points in a game this season. It was Clemson's first 28-point quarter since a 28-point second quarter at Wake Forest last season.

Clemson's offensive eruption started when the Tigers scored on a trick play on the game's opening play . Quarterback Cade Klubnik threw a pass behind the line of scrimmage to wide receiver Antonio Williams, who threw a 75-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver T.J. Moore, who scored in just 11 seconds. It marked Clemson's fastest score in a game under Tigers coach Dabo Swinney .
