Brewers' manager Pat Murphy honors Bob Uecker with special tattoo
There may not have been a more loved person in the sport of baseball outside of Bob Uecker. He was the legendary broadcaster for the Milwaukee Brewers for 54 seasons.
His joking nature and true love for the club were something that the fans loved. And he even had a stint in the acting world, most notably playing George Owens in Mr. Belvedere , but also played a role in the Major League franchise, played a parody of himself on Disney's Monsters at Work , and had a role in the old Miller Lite commercials.
To honor the legendary broadcaster, the Brewers wore a patch dedicated to him. It was stitched on the sleeve of the uniform and included a plaid pattern with Uecker's signature across a blue
