HOMESTEAD, Pa. —

Authorities are asking for information after the body of a woman was found in the Monongahela River Saturday afternoon.

The woman was discovered near the waterfront in Homestead after a call was made to dispatchers around 12:07 p.m. Advertisement

Officials say there are no obvious signs of trauma. A medical examiner will determine the cause of the woman’s death and work to identify her.
