Michigan State football came back from the bye week blowing their chance against the Nebraska Cornhuskers .
The Spartans (3-2, 0-2 Big Ten) lost 38-27 against the Nebraska Cornhuskers (4-1, 1-1 Big Ten) in their conference matchup on Saturday, Oct. 4 at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Worryingly for the Spartans, their starting quarterback Aidan Chiles took a nasty hit on a sack in the second quarter and exited the game with an apparent injury . He re-appeared on the following drive and scored his third rushing touchdown of the season later in the third quarter, but was benched late in the fourth quarter after appearing to suffer another injury.
