CANYON, Texas (KFDA) - #14 West Texas A&M Lady Buffs volleyball went 2-0 in their matches on Friday and Saturday.

On Friday, the Lady Buffs defeated the Dallas Baptist Lady Patriots by a score of 3-0.

Currie Marusak continued her offensive dominance, finishing with a team-high 15 kills; Kaycee Cavanaugh right behind her with 14.

Hereford native Taytum Stow had a great performance as well, proving why she is one of the best players in the country on both sides of the net. She finished with eight kills to along with eight blocks, scoring nearly 25% of the Lady Buffs points.

On Saturday, the Lady Buffs defeated the Texas Woman’s Pioneers by a score of 3-1.

Emma Becker starred for West Texas A&M, going for a match-high 21 kills — more than the Pioneers top two hitters combined.
