The Crows missed out on Melbourne’s Norm Smith medallist Christian Petracca after meeting with him in Adelaide last Monday. Two-time Brisbane Lions premiership forward Callum Ah Chee has requested a trade to Adelaide and should be a quality addition. Wingman Lachie Sholl is contracted through 2026, but fell out of the Crows’ rotation, and is weighing up whether a new club would be best. Jordon Butts also tumbled down the pecking order as the season progressed, and North Melbourne expressed interest in the contracted key defender. Veteran forward and ex-skipper Taylor Walker will play on after signing another one-year deal. – Jon Pierik
