Seattle police officers arrested a 22-year-old man, armed with a gun, for taking part in a convenience store robbery with another woman in Downtown Seattle this morning.
At about 1:10 a.m., patrol officers responded to a robbery in the 800 block of 3rd Avenue. The suspects entered the store and stole beer and ice cream. While leaving, the woman hit an employee with a dog leash several times in an attempt to stop him from retaining the stolen merchandise. The suspects briefly left the store and returned. The woman then chased the employee around the store with the dog leash and damaged the store.
Before police arrived, the suspects left the area with a large white dog running with them.
