HYDERABAD: A 28-year-old student from Hyderabad was shot dead in Texas, US, by an unidentified assailant on Oct 3 (US time) in what police suspect to be an armed robbery attempt. Pole Chandrasekhar, who was working part-time at a gas station, was reportedly confronted by the gunman and died on the spot. "We got to know that my brother was shot dead at a gas station. He was in the US to pursue higher studies and was looking for a job. He had been applying for jobs in the last six months," said his brother Damodar.
