Concordia sisters Mallory Weller and Daphne Weller finished 1-2 in the SAC Girls Cross Country Meet for the second year in a row and led the Cadets to another team title Saturday at Northrop.
Mallory Weller, a junior, won her third consecutive conference title in 17 minutes, 39.6 seconds just months after winning the state championships in the 3200 meters. Her younger sister, a sophomore, finished second in 17:51.9, shaving 45 seconds off her runner-up finish from last year.
The Cadets had all seven runners finish in the top 10. Maren Wilson of Northrop was the top non-Concordia runner, finishing third. Bishop Dwenger finished second as a team and Snider was third.
In the boys' race, Concordia's Hunter Panning won in 16:03.7, beating runner-up Jacksan Slater by 1.6 seconds after Panning
