A four-goal showing in the second half helped 12th-seeded Parsippany Hills pull away from 21st-seeded Boonton as it nailed down a 5-1 win in the opening round of the Morris County Tournament in Morris Plains.

Parsippany Hills’s victory advances it to the second round where it will visit fifth-seeded Chatham, which had a first-round bye, on Tuesday.

Jordan Hicinbothem made 15 saves in goal and Anastasia Showler-Little scored the lone goal for Boonton (5-7).
