Police are seeking the public's help identifying someone wanted in connection with an assault and battery, as well as a shoplifting incident, that occurred at a pharmacy in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood on Thursday.

According to police, officers responded to the CVS located at 587 Boylston Street around 5:13 p.m. for a report of an assault and battery in progress. Responding officers learned that a woman had entered the store, taken merchandise and physically assaulted a security employee before exiting past all points of sale.

The suspect , described as a woman in her 30s, briefly stood outside the store before leaving in an unknown direction, police said. She was last seen wearing a red jacket and white shorts.
